About Us

Owner, Scott Gaiason, purchased the townhouse property in 2008 upon returning to Maine from the Boston area and travels west. He is a native Mainer and grew up in and around Brunswick and Auburn. Scott is a “retired” contractor and craftsman, and his interests include developing co-housing communities and avidly engaging in both local and national politics. He has a passion for mentoring a new generation of creative, community-minded thinkers to become regular participants and advocates in our democratic process.

Carolynn Gaiason is retired from both an early career in advertising, marketing, and writing, followed by nearly three decades in early education entrepreneurship and administration. “I take great pride in watching today’s kiddos still benefiting from the programming my team(s) brought to fruition.” Carolynn also enjoys gardening in the small greenhouse and raised beds on the townhouse property and would love to share that space with like-minded tenants.”

Luna is a boxer-ridgeback mix rescue who lives on the property with Scott and Carolynn. Luna has taken on the self-appointed role of “Ambassadog” for the Townhouses and sometimes the neighborhood at large, too. She is a lively and welcoming presence who has never met a snack she didn’t love. She enjoys following Scott around the property as he goes about his day–that is, until she crosses paths with a squirrel or the treat-baring mailman.
